• Information you share when booking a free diagnostic, such as your child's first name, year group, subjects and anything you tell us they find difficult.
• Lesson-related information, such as goals, topics covered and feedback, so lessons can be planned and continued.
• Records of our communications with you, including emails and messages.
• Basic technical information (such as pages visited) if analytics are used on this website.

• To arrange the free 30-minute diagnostic and respond to your enquiries.
• To provide the tutoring you book, including matching a tutor and planning lessons.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders and administrative messages.
• To keep records required by law and to keep our service safe, including checks on our tutors.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to send marketing you have not asked for.

We rely on: performing our contract with you when we arrange and deliver lessons; legitimate interests when we keep lesson records and keep our service safe; and consent where you have actively given us information or asked us to contact you. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Our students are children, so we collect their information through a parent or guardian. We keep the information we hold about students to what is needed to teach them effectively — for example, their first name, year group and the topics they need help with. Parents and guardians can ask us to correct or delete this information at any time.

We only share personal data with providers who help us run the service, and only with what they need:

• Our scheduling provider, so diagnostic and lesson bookings can be made and managed.
• The video platform used for our secure online classroom, so lessons can take place.
• Payment providers, when you book paid lessons.
• Professional advisers or authorities, where the law requires it — for example for safeguarding or a DBS-related matter.

Each provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, in line with UK data protection law.

We keep personal data only as long as we need it: enquiry and diagnostic information while we are in contact with you; lesson records for a reasonable period after tutoring ends so lessons can be resumed; and financial records for the period required by tax law. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted.

Your data is stored securely using reputable online service providers. Access is limited to the people who need it — the tutor(s) teaching your child and those running the service. Lessons take place in a secure, monitored online environment.

You have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Object to or restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
• Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
